Blog Google PageRank
November 17, 2008
One of the biggest challenge for a newly built marketing blog to compete with other contenders is that many of the competitors are having a blog or website which already had a PageRank. Meanwhile this blog is only started as a participant for this competition. Nevertheless, it’s my strong intention to bring this deliberately-built to join the busby seo challenge and intended to test my seo skill in building and bringing this blog to the highest level on search engine rank, for I know that Google PageRank is not the main factor in bringing a website or blog on top of search result.
I’m fully realized that PageRank is one contributing factor but not the most important factor since there are many other factors which do make impact on the search engine ranking algorithm. I’ve seen many blog pages or web pages that rank high in Google for certain relevant keyword phrase. And, there are as well websites with significantly high Google PageRank but can’t be found in Google search result unless you search them by their company or domain names.
It is my firm base in building a new blog that PageRank is just ONE factor that is used to determine blog’s page actual rank on a search result page for a certain given search query. By doing a properly keyword optimization on this blog, I believe that my blog can outrank a non-optimized page with a higher PageRank. So,now this blog’s PageRank is still N/A with a grey bar on the Google PageRank toolbar installed on my Firefox browser. By a link building campaign and writing a regular postings about seo blog tips and how to test a seo practices for winning the Busby challenge, hopefully I could make this seo marketing blog having its PageRank soon and compete with the others to climb over the top of Google search result.
