Is Busby SEO Test challenge breaking the myth?

The competition for Busby SEO Test challenge is now getting hotter and crazier. The top ten leader ranking position is changing in hours. The top leader contenders are doing their seo efforts amazingly. They were aggresively getting the inbound links with anchor text on the links and the numbers of backlinks to their site hourly are changing (read, increasing!) rapidly.

The competition has been running for only three and a half months until now but some of the contenders have been getting backlinks up to 50.000! In average, by using the SEO Quake plugin, I could see that the top ten leaders are having more than 20.000 backlinks going to theirs site each. It mean that when we divide numbers of backlinks to numbers of days of competition, we will get that they made almost 20,000/100 = 200 backlinks everyday.

What I’m trying to convey here is there was a SEO myth that always come to me that please be patience in building backlinks to your site. Do make a link building in a gradual way otherwise your site will get penalized by search engine if you are getting huge numbers of backlinks in a short time. Actually, there was no exact figures how many backlinks were too many. But, what a lesson I could take home from this challenge, is more than 200 backlinks every day is not a too many figures!.

Frankly, I am new to this kind a SEO stuff. This phenomena brings me to a question whether this Busby SEO Test challenge is breaking a SEO myth, or the Google search algorithm is now changing that they cannot see this. Wallahualam!
